A silicon implant was placed over her dorsum several years ago. When she visited my rhinoplasty clinic, she complained about her short nose, much visible nostrils and wide nose tip. She also was annoying by the visibility of implant through thin dorsal skin. After consulting details of nose job, autolougs rib cartilage was chosen as necessary grafts to correct the deformity of her nose.
on day 7 postoperative, she got less exposure nostrils, the well-defined of nose tip, and a lengthened nose. The changes of nostil shape and the nasal length are achieved by tip down rotation with costal cartilage septal extending grafts.
